Headwaters is our home on the banks of the Yellowstone River, 3 miles north of Gardiner, Montana, the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. We have owned the property since 1969 and have both lived and worked in Yellowstone. We are always ready to share our love and knowledge of the area.
The guest room views of 10,992 foot high Electric Peak and the northern range of Yellowstone are breathtaking any time of the year. The sound of the Yellowstone River outisde your window is a relaxing accompaniment to the dramatic view. Many animals, including elk, deer and an occasional bear or bison wander through our property. A wide variety of birds make their nests in the cottonwood trees along the river bank. We have counted 25 different bird species perched on our deck or flying through the area.
